Programs at a Glance

  • Educational Leadership, MEd Enhance your skill set to build strong learning communities and efficiently manage schools. In this program, you’ll combine online coursework with a hands-on administration internship and a professional portfolio assessment. Upon completion, you’ll be ready to lead a school and apply for initial certification as a New Jersey School Principal and for your Supervisor Certification.
  • Educational Leadership Certificate This 15-credit program equips early career teachers with critical leadership skills. Including relevant courses from each TCNJ certification program useful to new teachers, this certificate program can help you determine if you want to pursue a formal leadership position.
  • Supervisor Certificate This fully online program prepares teachers who want to earn their New Jersey Standard Administrative Certificate and take on supervisory roles in public schools. Learn to develop curricula, use assessments, promote professional learning, and evaluate faculty. You’ll complete the 12-credit program and submit an official transcript and application for Supervisor Certification to the NJ Department of Education.
  • Teacher Leader Certificate Gain the skills to coach, mentor, and collaborate with your peers and move into non-supervisory leadership roles, such as facilitator, coach, and professional developer. This program includes an internship and professional portfolio and leads to New Jersey Teacher Leader Endorsement; most students complete it in 12 to 15 months of part-time study.
  • Educational Leadership, Post-Master’s Certificate Covering all aspects of school leadership, including those in the TCNJ Supervisor Certificate, the program emphasizes building effective learning communities and allows you to gain the skills to effectively manage schools. Once you finish, you can apply for initial certification as a New Jersey school principal.
  • Educational Studies, MA Design a degree tailored to your interests and preferred learning style! You’ll choose two certificates and add a capstone to create a specialized master’s degree. This 30+- credit program addresses the teacher shortages in bilingual education, STEM, TESOL, special education, and acknowledges the changing nature of school leadership.

  • Public Policy, MPP The Master of Public Policy prepares you to engage effectively in policy research, analysis, management, and program evaluation. You’ll gain a solid foundation in policymaking as well as in the analytic tools you’ll use to evaluate policy proposals and implement programs. Complete your degree full-time in only 18 months to two years or as part of a flexible, part-time program.
  • Public Policy Certificate The five-course Certificate in Public Policy prepares you to engage in policy research, analysis, management, and program evaluation, providing a solid foundation in the concepts of policymaking as well as the key analytic tools necessary to evaluate policy proposals and program implementation. Once you complete this certificate and meet the minimum grade requirements, you can also apply these courses to TCNJ’s Master of Public Policy.

  • Accounting and Business Analytics, BS/MS Grow your career and stand out in this in-demand professional discipline with a BS/MS in Accounting and Business Analytics. Our program combines foundational concepts with cutting-edge analytics tools and techniques to prepare students for success on the CPA exam and in the evolving accounting field. Hybrid course delivery and an accelerated degree pathway empower you to chart your path toward a fulfilling, rewarding career.
  • Business Administration, MBA Gain the contemporary analytic skills you need to make complex, strategic decisions that move businesses forward and improve performance. In this nine-month program, you’ll learn how to work with widely used analytics tools (including R and Python) and industry datasets when completing your class assignments.
  • Business Analytics Certificate Prepare for leadership with TCNJ’s two-year MBA and gain the skills to take your career further — faster. Select from two tracks: Business Analytics or Strategy, Innovation, and Leadership. You’ll focus on your track in your first year, earn a certificate in that area, and then take your MBA core courses in year two. Our part-time online hybrid format lets you work full-time while earning your degree.
  • Management and Organizations, BS/MS Develop your leadership platform and gain the business skills to drive organizational success with a BS/MS in Management and Organizations. Familiarize yourself with crucial managerial concepts, such as strategy, supply chain operations, and human resource management, and customize your program with cross-disciplinary electives tailored to your professional goals. Hybrid course delivery and an accelerated degree pathway empower you to chart your path toward leadership across a wide range of fields and industries.
  • Strategy, Innovation, and Leadership Certificate Challenge the status quo and find new ways to deliver value as you explore processes that lead to innovative ideas, products, and services. In this nine-month program, you’ll learn how to think more strategically, gain new insights related to how people and organizations work, and develop managerial skills that enable you to lead others in change initiatives.
